Puliying Innovation Studio at Yibin Tianyi New Material Technology Co., Ltd. is named in honor of Ms. Puliying, a renowned Sichuan Provincial Labor Model and Outstanding Female Achiever. The studio consists of 10 members, 70% of whom are women. With five members holding bachelor’s degrees and an average age of 33, the team brings together expertise in polymer materials engineering, materials forming and control engineering, and process equipment and control engineering. They are a highly motivated and innovative group with extensive experience in polymer processing and equipment operation.

Since its establishment, under Puliying’s leadership, the studio has fostered significant professional growth: one member obtained senior engineer certification, three became assistant engineers, and two female employees earned intermediate technician qualifications. The team has successfully executed key projects such as the “Development and Application of Two-Step PVC-O Fittings” and “Development and Application of Two-Step PVC-O Pipes.”
Compared to traditional PE pipes, PVC-O pipes developed by the studio have a wall thickness only one-third that of PE pipes, significantly reducing raw material use and cutting carbon emissions by 35%. They also reduce water loss by 20% compared to conventional water supply pipelines, achieving zero leakage. In addition, the pipes greatly decrease the energy required for fluid transportation. The studio has also developed an intelligent pipeline network system that enables real-time monitoring and response to water usage, with capabilities for automatic detection, analysis, and incident handling to prevent pipe bursts and ensure reliable water supply. These innovations provide strong support for industrial development and rural revitalization.
